Where is UcanB Plastic Surgery & Dermatology located?
+
We are on the 7th floor of the Tongyeong Building (the Hana Bank building) at 405 Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu, Seoul — directly in front of Gangnam Station Exit 10 on subway Line 2.
What are your opening hours?
+
Both plastic surgery and dermatology are open Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays and Korean public holidays. Online enquiries are received all year round.
How can I contact the clinic from abroad?
+
Our main number, 1588-2338, can only be dialled from within Korea. From overseas, please email ucanb1004@gmail.com or message us on KakaoTalk with your concerns, photos if helpful and your travel dates.
Who performs my surgery?
+
Surgery is performed by our board-certified plastic surgeons — Dr. Kim Jun-ho, Dr. Park Seong-uk and Dr. Song Yu-seong. The surgeon you consult with is the surgeon who operates, and anesthesia is managed by a board-certified anesthesiologist.
How long should I stay in Seoul after surgery?
+
It depends on the procedure. Facial bone contouring usually involves one night in hospital, and swelling peaks around days 2–3. Many eye and nose procedures need stitch removal within about a week, while liposuction and many breast procedures are done without a hospital stay but need follow-up visits. Your surgeon will give you a personalised schedule at consultation.
What kind of anesthesia is used?
+
Smaller procedures use local anesthesia or IV sedation, while bone contouring, two-jaw surgery and some breast surgery use general anesthesia. A board-certified anesthesiologist manages anesthesia with real-time monitoring.
I had surgery elsewhere. Can you do revision surgery?
+
Yes. We offer revision eye, nose and breast surgery. We first analyse why the earlier result happened — with 3D-CT for the nose where needed. For eye and nose revisions we generally recommend waiting at least six months after the first operation, unless there is inflammation or another problem that needs earlier care.
How do you prevent infection?
+
We use single-use disposables and sterilise instruments with high-pressure steam (autoclave) and ethylene-oxide gas, store them in UV sterilising cabinets and seal them individually in sterilisation pouches.
Do you offer non-surgical treatments as well?
+
Yes. Our dermatology department provides Ultherapy PRIME, InMode, Liftera, thread lifts, Sylfirm X, Laser Genesis, pigment and acne treatments, skin boosters, botulinum toxin, fillers and non-invasive body contouring.
Are results guaranteed?
+
No medical procedure can guarantee a result. Outcomes and recovery vary with anatomy, the method used and aftercare, and side effects such as swelling, bruising, bleeding or inflammation can occur. Your doctor will explain realistic expectations and risks before you decide.
Is VAT included in treatment prices?
+
Cosmetic plastic surgery and aesthetic dermatology treatments such as lifting, filler, Botox and skin boosters are subject to 10% VAT under Korean tax law, charged separately from the quoted price. Please check the final amount with our staff during your consultation.
Can I get a tax refund on cosmetic treatments as a foreign visitor?
+
No. The tax refund program for cosmetic treatments received by foreign visitors has ended, so VAT paid on surgery and treatments cannot be refunded.
What payment methods do you accept?
+
We accept credit cards and cash.
